Translation still not working

    Hi,

    The translation feature is still not working for me.

    I want to translate in French. I add the french translation via the menu “Add translation”. New po+mo files are written in the “uploads” folder (not great but acceptable).

    Problem:
    * French translations are still not picked up in the front-end. They remain English.
    * Menu “Translations” does not show me the previous added french translations. Bug ?
    * I copied the language files from “uploads” folder to this folder “/wp-content/plugins/faq-wd/languages”. Not better.
    * I use Loco Translate to translate the plugin. Not better.

    How to get this plugin translated ?

    I found the bug myself.

    When adding the french translation file via the plugin menu feature, there are no french translations. It is just a template ! This should have been mentioned. There is also no way to edit those language files.

    So I copied the french translations files from Loco Translate to the “uploads” folder (/wp-content/uploads/Languages_WD/faq-wd), overwrite both existing files.

    Now french translations are being picked up.

    But there is still an issue with your plugin, as out-of-the-box it does not work. You need to fix your language file emplacements.
