    Hello.

I’m trying to translate the Max sum message to spanish, since I’m using WPML with spanish as native language and english as second. Where am I supposed to use the shortcodes in order to do so? I tried it by switching the language in the WordPress backoffice and saving the Order Minimum/Maximum Amount for WooCommerce plugin settings with the following shortcode in the message boxes:

    alg_wc_oma_translate lang="ES"]Text for DE[/alg_wc_oma_translate]

It worked at the beginning, but after a while, the settings in the spanish backoffice version became the same as the english one, and therefore, the message was in english again in both languages. Any suggestions please?

  • Hi @reivorz,

Thanks for reaching out. I am really sorry to know that you are having problems.

The shortcode that you have provided, it seems that the first bracket is missing at the beginning. Please check it again in the “Messages” section of the plugin. Also, it might be a cache issue. So, please clear your browser cache, and if you are using any cache plugin, please try to disable it.

If the issue persists, then please let us know.

    Kind regards,

I believe that was just an error with the code copy and paste.

I enter the code and translation of the custom text like this in my spanish backoffice settings.

It works, but then I realize the english backoffice settings has the same code and translated text instead of the english one:

So, how do I apply the spanish translation only for the spanish site, mantaining the english text for the english site? Thank you.

    HI @reivorz,

    Thanks for your reply.

In such a case, you may use the shortcode like this:

    [alg_wc_oma_translate lang="ES"]Text for ES[/alg_wc_oma_translate][alg_wc_oma_translate lang="EN"]Text for EN[/alg_wc_oma_translate]

    Please give it a try.

    Kind regards,

Okay, I didn’t think I should use them together. Now it is translated for both languages, thank you.
