    Hi guys,

    nice plugin but we have the problem, that two strings cant be translated.
    We try loco translate and wpml string translation but in German language the english word is still their.

    tribe-events-c-view-selector__button
    “list” and “month”

    Could you help us to fix?

    Thanks,

    Florian

  • Hey @pictibe

    Sorry about the inconvenience.
    We are working on a fix for that!

    We’ll reach back here as soon as it’s out.
    In the meantime, you can downgrade to a previous version as a workaround.

    Best,
    Geoff

    Hi,

    FYI: also the link to ‘All events’ (the ‘all’) does not get translated.
    In German it should be ‘Alle Veranstaltungen’ but it says ‘All Veranstaltungen’.

    Markus

    Hi @markisu72, apologies for the delay here. I would suggest using Loco Translate and seeing if that does the trick. I encountered another user having an issue as you with “All Events” not translating properly. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/managing-translations-with-loco-translate/

    Let me know if that helps.

    Abz

    Hi @abzlevelup ,

    I already use Loco and all keys are translated properly to German.

    E.g.
    ‘list’ -> ‘Liste’
    ‘month’ -> ‘monat’
    ‘All %s’ -> ‘Alle %s’

    But they just don’t seem to get used at all.
    That’s the issue

    Looking for a solution for this issue too.
    Thank you.

    Hi there,

    With our latest release of The Events Calendar 6.0.4, we resolved multiple issues with translations. Please be sure to review our full Release Notes for more details and update your plugin whenever you get a chance.

    As always, we suggest testing updates on a staging site first and having a recent backup, but it should all be smooth sailing. If you implemented any workarounds, you can remove them after updating the plugins.

    If you still have issues after updating to the latest releases, please open a new support thread and include any specific details and screenshots if possible.

    Have a great day,
    Gladys

    Hi @fasterboy, could you try resyncing the translation? Please also make sure to clear the cache.

    Hi @eickit @claudiaiw, that’s awesome! Good to know that it is now working on your end. I appreciate the updates and confirmation.

    Solved!
    I deactivated and uninstalled the plugin, then I installed it again.
    In Loco Translate I’ve located the strings about the text label for the Day, Month and List view. They weren’t translated in italian so I did it and now works.
    Thanks for the suggestion Abz
