Translation problem

Hi,

1. Modify the language line in the wp-config.php file in the root directory of your WP installation:
Search for ‘WPLANG’, you should find a line saying “define (‘WPLANG’, );”

2. Add the language-Country codes behind the comma. For Polish the line should now read “define (‘WPLANG’, ‘pl_PL’)” (make sure these codes are the same as the ones used to rename the language files).

The latest WordPress doesn’t have the WPLANG anymore, as it is not needed. Do you have another solution to this language problem (which I have as well) ?

Sorry Benjamin, could you instead provide a solution to why translations are not updated, after being exported and uploaded on the site?

i put in language folder

if it would work instantly, it does not work ??

…this topic is still unresolved. The default files are .pot .po .mo, and we upload only .po and .mo. Is a it_IT.pot needed in order to work? Please advice.

ok, I resolved by making a new download from Glotpress. Maybe there was something that got lost in my previous download. ??

how did you name files? here lang still not working, can you upload files somewhere and paste a link ?

hi Nook, it is very important that you rename your files all-in-one-event-calendar-pl_PL (i.e. you have to take out “timely”) and then you can upload to your server. If you rename them after uploading to the server it will not work. ??

yes it was a case of additional ‘timely-‘ in a name of language file.. thank you problem solved!

strange thing, after uplodading this now if i click on event, i got 404 error

i see its translated in a po file hmm… there are also lask of translation of stream and posterboard.

btw i dont know why but events do not load for me as i am logged in now.
