Translation problem

    Hi,

    I modified the default Hungarian language files with Poedit and uploaded into the proper wp-content/languages/plugins folder, but from the last update of Woocommerce, the website doesn’t load these, I see only the default Hungatian translations. I mean, I need Bruttó rész?sszeg, instead of Rész?sszeg (Gross total, instead of total), to be clear for the customer and is is very important.

    I inactivated all of the not Woo relevant plugins, but in vain.

    Also the hosting parameters are checked and the Woo status infos.
    Please be so kind and help to fix the problem.

    If I understand you correctly, you’re facing an issue with the translation not working on your checkout page, as other pages are correctly translated. Is that correct?

    First and foremost, were you able to confirm that the files were not deleted after the recent update? If they are still intact, please try to clear the transients in the WooCommerce Tools section, under?WooCommerce > Status > Tools.

    Should the issue persist, I’d recommend checking our FAQ about?Why some strings on the Checkout page are not being translated.

    Hi,
    My modified Hungarian language files are currently in the right folder, I am sure, because I uploaded these again, after the update of Woocommerce , as I realized the trenslation error.
    The problem is visible on chart and checkout pages, not only on the chart page. We have problem with the translation of the Total and Price expressions, however, everything worked fine until the last update of the Woocommerce.

    Could you please share those translation files with me?
    Also, if you could send a screenshot of the directory where you uploaded them, that would be wonderful.

    I can test the files on my site and see how that works.
    This will help me find the root cause of the problem and work towards a solution.

    I want to revisit this initial message.
    Could you explain why you want Bruttó rész?sszeg, instead of Rész?sszeg?
    Is this specific to your business or some general error in the translation?

    To investigate further, please share the screenshots of the issue on both the cart and checkout pages. This will help me better understand how the translations are being applied (or not applied).
