Hi, i have some trouble to get translations work.
Im not sure if its me or any other issue ??

    – I installed the “Loco” Plugin for translations and then created a new german translation for your plugin
    See: https://snipboard.io/L8hpt5.jpg

    – My Shop is set to german see wordpress status:
    See: https://snipboard.io/1oWj5I.jpg

    – I can change translation strings using loco
    See: https://snipboard.io/5xwHFi.jpg

    – The files are created successfully with the correct permissions and translation:
    See: https://snipboard.io/MyoTZr.jpg

But: The translation is not displayed in my website :(.

Do you have any idea where the problem may be or where i should continue debugging?
Could this be a problem with the plugin? I feel a little lost.

Also an additional question: Is there maybe already a complete german translation? I found old threads here where someone offered you to provide language files.

    Thank you a lot
    Best
    Stefanie

    Hi @technichdml,

Could this be a problem with the plugin?

Most likely not, the plugin follows all of the WordPress guidelines for using translations.

Is it just the Stripe plugin’s text that isn’t translating or is it your entire site?

Can you provide a screenshot showing an example of the text not being translated on your checkout page?

    Kind Regards,

    Hi @mrclayton

i debugged a little more and found out that the translations are working.
In fact i tried to translate something in the translation files what looks very similar to what is displayed in the checkout (but only the first sentence is the same…)

So where is this text being displayed?

What i cant translate currently is SEPA desciption below.

    Is this coming from Stripe?
    Sorry for the confusion

    Hi @mrclayton

    okay i found it.
I guess i started with the worst possible string to translate possible and had the worst timing ever.
Looks like the phrase starting with “By providing your IBAN and confirming this payment, you are…” was changed within the last update 2 days ago ithin the .POT file. Thus i had to sync.

All works now. Sorry for the confusion
