Hi, I’ve been trying for the past 24hs to create a translated version for my original page:

    https://marlosbakker.com.br/cabo-polonio-jose-ignacio/

I click on plus button, the new page editor loads in WordPress, I copy and paste the content of the original one and publish it. For my surprise, although the page is published and I can access it through its direct link – https://marlosbakker.com.br/cabo-polonio-jose-ignacio-pt/ – when I click on either language flags they’re not connected to each other and I’m always redirected to my homepage. What could be happening?

Is there anyway I could manually connect them?

I would be very grateful if you could help me over here,

    Thanks,

    Marlos

I’ve tried to delete the page and create and publish it again after updating to WordPress 5.9.1 latest release. Still the same problem, can’t link the different language pages…

You can manually connect pages if you go to edit page and then click languages icon in the top right corner – the icon looks like google translate icon. There you can manually put in the page to which you wish the page to be linked to.

I’ve read about that somewhere in the past but had completely forgotten about that possibility, thank you so much for your answer Mornie, it worked, case solved now! Thanks again!
