• We keep having issues with a non-translatable text within the Botiga theme in combination with Elementor (Pro). The text: “Search Results for:” is no where to be translated, if we use a plug-in like Loco Translate and change it inside Elementor Pro it does not get translated. If we force a translation within the functions.php, it doesn’t work either. We tried to create a custom Archive Page within Elementor. For example:

    the results are:

If we look at the live site it gets turned into:

Our developer found out if he disabled the following styles with the developer tools, the results were similair as in the elementor pagebuilder.

Could you please tell us what is causing these issues within the theme? And where we can translate the “Search Results for” within the Botiga theme??

  • Hi @ideefabriek,

I am sorry for I couldn’t provide you with immediate solution for now. Since it may take time to reproduce your issue with custom archive page made with Elementor, it should have been easier to go with this information you could have provided in your query.

    Regarding this part:

And where we can translate the “Search Results for” within the Botiga theme?

You mentioned that you have tried editing the theme’s functions, but it didn’t change anything. So, my guess Elementor might override the default search template of the theme. Have you tried disabling Elementor temporarily while you have modified theme’s functions?
