Translation of plugin not working

  • Hi,

    I have this plugin installed. I have translated to Spanish language (es_ES) using Poedit, based on the POT file that is included with the plugin on languages folder.

    I have uploaded the .po and .mo generated files to languages folder, but nothing is translated.

    The names of those translated files are:

    amr-shortcode-any-widget-es_ES.po
    amr-shortcode-any-widget-es_ES.mo

    I have tried to call them “es_es” (with .po and .mo file extensions) too, but nothing.

    How can I do to work properly the translation of the plugin?

    Fixed. It was all OK, but the plugin can’t be translated fully because the translation files only have 23 lines and in the plugin backend there are many more lines.

    Hi,
    yes there are a few strings, (mostly error messages or help text) that are not translated. The main part of the plugin doesn’t really need much (there aren’t really any settings, it’s just text)

    Let me know if there is any in particular that bother you (file name and line of code would make it quicker and easier), and I’ll make a note for when I have spare time.
