Translation of {date}

I’m testing this plugin with Portuguese language blog (not online yet so I cannot post a link). We can edit the notification text. But… the {date} placeholder expands to two fields: “date” and “time” with the English word “at” in-between. In Portuguese that should be “ás”. Does anyone know a solution or workaround?
