translation not working

  • Hello, I’ve made a partial (texts visible in frontend) translation to your theme, but… It does not work :/

    I’ve placed the files (fluida-cs_CZ.mo and fluida-cs_CZ.po) into /wp-content/themes/fluida/languages/ directory, but the web is still using English.

    What might be wrong?

    Any ideas? Do you need some more info?

    Place the files in wp-content/languages/themes/

    If you’re placing them in fluida/languages, they should be named simply cs_CZ.mo and cs_CZ.po (but they’ll get deleted at the next theme update).

    OK, that is logical, sorry for not realizing it – it’s been a while since I actually coded something in WordPress.

    Meanwhile, would you add my translations to the official release (?) – so that others might also make use of it, not just me myself… Or what can I do to release it officially?
