Translation not Showing

    I successfully translated the plugin to German using Poedit.
    I

    1. Put the de_DE.po and de_DE.mo files in the plugin’s language folder (wp-listings/languages/),
    2. defined define(‘WPLANG’, ‘de_DE’); in wp-config.php
    3. even set permissions of the translation files to 777 temporarily without success

    but still the plugin is showing up everything in English. What could I have done wrong?
