Translation lost after Update to Version 1.8.5

    Hello
    After updating to version 1.8.5 we are missing some translations that we are sure were already translated. Could it be theoretically possible that some strings are no longer translated or the translation is lost? If this is the case, it would be okay. We just want to avoid that we maintain it now and then the translations are gone again. Here a short info would be nice. Thanks a lot

    All the translations done by TranslatePress are saved string by string in the wp_trp_* tables from your database. That means that the translations shouldn’t have been lost. Even deleting the plugin won’t erase them.

    Unfortunately the limitation of translating this way is that any change in the original will invalidate the translation, as the original string is no longer found.
