Translation issues
-
Hi there
As I finished translating this plugin to Dutch to use on my website, I noticed a few strings that don’t get translated. ??
1) wp-content/plugins/advanced-access-manager/application/Backend/tmpl/service/welcome.php line 14.
The lines of “Power comes with responsibility. Make sure you have a good understanding of WordPress Roles & Capabilities because AAM is very closely integrated with WordPress core. It is also recommended to have a backup of your database table wp_options before you start working with AAM. There is no need to back up your files. AAM does not modify any physical files on your server and never did.”
Strangely enough, it appears in the file for the US translation… But not on translate.wp.org
It looks like the text domain is missing on that one.
2) On the same file on line 15, I can’t tell what’s the bug there but the translated version adds and additional “\” with “thema’s” in my nl_BE translation ??
3) For some reason, the placeholder in the backend in the “search role” box doesn’t get translated. Even tho, it appears in translate.wp.org
4) Almost ALL top tips like: “Manage access and security policies for Beheerder. For more information check Access & Security Policy page.” are missing the text domain. Only role names get translated. This is all sections.
5) Various radio button options are missing the text domain as well.
Those at: access denied & rediction, login redirection, logout redirection, 404 redirection.
Strange enough, the first option in login redirection, logout redirection, 404 redirection can be translated.
6) When shown a table, the “previous” and “next” buttons can’t be translated.
7) When there is no data in the table, the string shows in English. It also shows “Showing 0 to 0 of 0 entries” which can’t be translated either. I noticed this on my website underneath “URI access”.
All other things are nicely translated and work amazingly ??
