Translation issue. Search here field and Readme link

  • My changes in maskitto-light.pot ( wp-content/themes/maskitto-light/languages) are not working.
    I tried to translate “Search here..” label when you show the search field in the header and also tried to translate custom “Read more” button without any success.
    I changed line 993:

    #. Text in function
#: maskitto-light/inc/initialize.php:1
msgid "Search here.."
msgstr "Buscar..."

    but changes are not showing.
    Should i activate the translation .pot file somehow?
