    Hi!
I’ve been using WP E-Commerce for many years, but still feel not satisfied with one thing and that is the translation from English to Chinese (Basically there’s no such function in WP E-Commerce).

I am a counselor. People make appointment and pay me first via WP E-commerce. But the Shopping cart shows “add to cart”, “check out”,”continue shopping”, “Item”, “Quantity”, “Price”…these vocabularies do not sound properly with my service! So would you please tell me where I can revise these vocabularies and translate them into proper Chinese?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Maki,

It sounds like you’re not actually wanting to translate WP eCommerce, per se, rather, you’re needing to change the translation of certain words to more appropriate verbiage for your use case?

For this type of scenario, we highly recommend using the Say What plugin. Our text-domain is wp-e-commerce. With that, and knowing what strings you’re wanting to replace, you’ll be able to change any string to anything you want.

As an aside, if you do want to contribute to our Chinese translation, we’d greatly appreciate it!

    Hi Justin,

Thank you so much for your suggestion. I will try “Say What”.
Of course I will like to support Chinese Translation, but I guess I have to solve my own problem first.

But honestly, if WPEC provide user an UI to revise English to any language or any verbiage, that will be very cool.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Maki,

I want to use this “Say What?” pulgin to change text “Continue Shopping” on fancy checkout to “Add More Courses”. What should i enter in following boxes?

    Original string
    Text domain
    Text context
    Replacement string

    Thanks for help.

How to find string? I think that’s what i am struggling with.

    Figured out !
