Hi, can I use loco translate for email templates or in general to translate your plugin files, to send users selected language for the email he supposed to get in the browser selected language? (For verification and other emails from this plugin?) not the default WordPress language?

I suppose using translatepress this can’t be done, so wanted to know if loco translate will be helpful or not?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

For the most part, yes. “Loco Translate” can be used to translate all the content of our POT/PO/MO files.

    Now, there are some caveats:

    – If you set the option Email > WC Email Template as Email Verification plugin, the emails will be sent in just 1 language. You can fix that by simply setting the option as WooCommerce > Emails. On that case, the email content will be translated from a regular PO file.

    – I’m not sure that our Messages section would be translated to the correct language.

Most probably, you’d be able to fix all of that by using a plugin like Polylang or WPML

I hope you are doing well and safe!

We haven’t heard from you in a while, I’ll mark this thread as resolved.
