Sorry to hear you were not satisfied with the plugin after purchase.
Please note that you’ve left a review for the Lite version of the plugin, and you stated that you purchased the plugin. It would not be fair from our side to leave your review without a response.
Amelia doesn’t have any language settings, so when you change the language of WordPress, Amelia will be translated to that language if the translation files exist in ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/ folder. Since we don’t have translators in our company, we rely on our customers to send us translations, and some are not complete. There are hundreds of people who use Loco Translate with Amelia to translate strings and even the whole plugin to their language, and there are no issues there.
WPML is a multi-lingual plugin, and Amelia can’t be fully translated with it. Only static strings can be translated, but names, descriptions, etc. can’t be translated with WPML, Polylang, Weglot or similar plugins. We never advertised that it could, and we could’ve answered this question before you purchased the plugin, if you left us a pre-purchase question.
As for the 500 error in the Customize section – during activation of the plugin, a code for creating CSS is being run, and somehow some color in a bad format was being saved. You simply needed to click on “Reset”, and then “Save”, and that would have resolved the CSS issue in the Customize section.
All this information could have been gladly provided to you on our tickets, by our agents, so it was kind of harsh to leave a 1-star rating without waiting for an official response from our support.
If you’re willing to give Amelia another shot, we’ll gladly help you out on our official support platform, if you face any issues.
Kind regards.
