Translation files named and placed incorrectly (did not work)

  • Hello there, WP Store Locator was installed on our WordPress site, which is German, but never showed up in German language although as I found out a complete translation does exist.

    However, its path is:
    /wp-content/languages/plugins/wp-store-locator-de_DE.po + ….mo

    I copied those files to:
    /wp-content/languages/wp-store-locator/wpsl-de_DE.po + ….mo

    Not sure if this is an elegant sulution, but it is working.
