    Hi,

I was translating using loco translate, and after updating the plugin it looks like it found out a portuguese translation.
So now I have two translation files, one on custom folder and another one on the system folder.

Should I keep both, or can it be merged?

Is it safe to keep the one on the system?

    Thanks

  • Hey @carloslwnt29 !

It would be best to remove the translation file you do not need so there is no conflict. If there is no way to do this using Loco, you can always manually access your files and delete this extra file.

Also, feel free to take a look at our community supported translations.

ok, but how do I know which file the plugin is pulling the texts from?

    Hey again @carloslwnt29

It really depends on what you wanted to do. It looks like you have the translation file you started working on which only has a few translations versus the translation file that has all of them translated. I would suggest deleting the one that only has a few translations done.

To get better help for this I would suggest reaching out Loco Translate. This is going to be something they are better prepared to answer.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
