Translation file

Hi, I’m trying to translate in italian.
I have italian .mo and .po (theme-my-login-it_IT) files from a previus project.
I put the files in the same position:
wp-content/plugins/theme-my-login/languages
But I don’t see any changes.Is the position changed?
