Translation Field

    Hi,

    Where i can translate the field displayed on the widget “Email Address” because i would like to display “Adresse Email” in French.
    I have already setup the name of this field on Mailchimp > Settings > List fields menu.

  • Hello @mr-graphiste,

    I can certainly understand the desire to change things around when using the List Subscribe plugin.

    In order to change that “Email Address” listing to a different string of text please follow these steps:
    1) In your WordPress install, click plugins
    2) Click “edit” under MailChimp
    3) Edit the portion of the mailchimpSF_add_email_field function, as seen here: https://www.screencast.com/t/BKs2KJ0jTRn and then click the blue “Update File” button.
    4) Navigate back to Plugins in WordPress, and click “Settings” under MailChimp
    5) Click the “Update List” option towards the top of that page

    After initiating the refresh of information with the Update List button the List Subscribe widget will be updated with the new translation.
