Translation does’n work, because load_plugin_textdomain function doesn’t execute

  • Hello!
    I tried to translate the plugin for a long time before I loaded the function:
    load_plugin_textdomain( 'subscribe-to-comments', false, dirname( plugin_basename( __FILE__ ) ) );
    into my theme functions file.
    It think it means that this function doesn’t execute in the plugin file.

    But this manipulation doesn’t help to translate the title of the Comment Manager page, instead of deleting it in database (after searching by “stc” post type) and creating newly. I had to rename it in the database.
