I had manually translated the strings one by one and I don’t know what happened but it reset after a couple of days, if I’m not mistaken on September 14th, I didn’t add any plugin related to the translation so I don’t know what happened, it may be when do you disable some plugins and it conflicts? Now I find myself again point to head, it is not the first time this happens so I would like explanations. Last thing, in the future if I want to delete all the translation I have to click on “delete” and then click on “permanently delete”?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This FAQ may explain why your translation files get reverted: https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/faqs/files-deleted

To delete translations via my plugin you will have to click delete and confirm. However, they are just files on your server. You can delete them via whatever means you have for deleting files (FTP, SSH, etc..) The plugin just makes it easy to find them.

Thanks for the fast reply, these things are not really my field, can you tell me if by now I have lost the previous translation and if I can recover it and where to save the new one in case? Thanks in advance

If your files were deleted by a WordPress update then they are gone. Recovering your files from server backups is not something I can help you with.

where to save the new one in case?

Loco Translate’s “safe” (or custom) directory is explained in detail in the page I linked to above. Follow the links to choosing a safe file location.

I downloaded throught the FTP files in the folder /htdocs/wpcontent/languages/loco/plugins and now they are saved? So if there is a problem with the translation I can simply put these files in that folder?

Thank you, another thing, I have to translate singular and plural but I don’t know where go to do this. In english is “available” and in italian has two type, the singular: “disponibile” (just for the number 1) and the plural (for other than 1). This is where I see this problem: https://snipboard.io/RbjZMP.jpg
