    Hello,

Hopefully one of you can help us out!!! I am stuck now for two days in translating a part in the checkout of WooCommerce. We want to translate in it dutch but the parts stays in English. What I did so far:

    * Installed loco translate (can’t find the specific parts on the WooCommerce plugin)
    * Installed TranslatePress (can’t edit the parts on the checkout)
    * Checked the original .pot file and the dutch .po file. In the .pot file there is the specific text field and in the .po not. I added the specific parts in the .po file complied it also to .mo. Cleared browser cache but still no translation. I searched in the files of all the plugins and translation where the fields were, and found out this:
    – /woocommerce/i18n/languages/woocommerce.pot
    – /woocommerce/assets/client/blocks/checkout-blocks/billing-address-frontend.js
    – /woocommerce/assets/client/blocks/checkout.js

Please can someone help to get this sorted out and fixed? Many many many thanks already! See screenshot what I want to change.

    Hello @thoompje,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I understand your frustrations with translating the WooCommerce checkout to Dutch. I also understand you are using LocoTranslate to make your translations.

We have a similar experience from this ticket here. Please check it out and let us know if that helps solves your issues.

    Cheers!

    Hello @thoompje,

Thanks for sharing more updates on this.

I was able to see similar experiences getting solved by rolling back WordPress to a previous version, and this solved the issues with translation.

For reference, here’s a similar issue that was solved by rolling back WordPress.

Please try that and let us know if it solves the issue.

    Thanks.

An alternative, to try, would be the one detailed here.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
