My main problem is that I tried a translation plugin in 4 languages with url /de/ /it/ etc. that I abandoned for various reasons.
these urls have never been in my sitemap, but google has referenced them and does not want to refresh the information it has had for several months.

I make redictions of 404 all the time, but Google doesn’t correct its mistakes, and even in products classifies them in warnings for products………

could your plugin help me with this kind of problem?
    Thank you. Thank you.

    Hello @penseelibre

Thank you for contacting the support.

You can try to submit the Sitemap again in Google Search Console after deleting the existing Sitemap. But as you said the links never existed in your Sitemap so not sure if that would help.

The sitemap is just 1 way to tell Google to index the pages. You should also make sure the links to the pages which you abandoned doesn’t exist anywhere on your site.

Rank Math plugin has an option to monitor the 404 pages, you can use it and create Redirection rules for those pages.

    Hope that helps.
