  • How was it solved? I still see the same behavior. Also, a line “you need to answer this question” appearing when trying to proceed to the next question without making a choice stays in English

    The same thing, strings are still non-translatable.

    @irakly and @ksdenis,

    Please have a crack at 2.7.4. Should resolve your issues.

    Take care,

    Thank you! It’s worked!

    Thank you Thomas! It worked 90%. I’ll send you screenshots of where it did not.
    Also, it was a great idea to get rid of excerpts and thumbnails in questions. They served no purpose, just made the authoring page more convoluted. Now it is nice and clean.

    The date and time for some reason are not translated:

    As I understand it, this is due with the PHP settings?

    hey everyone,

    I’ve just discovered that WordPress has it’s only i18n functions for displaying dates. I was not aware of this and I now have a pretty large project ahead of me combing through the codebase to use the WordPress i18n function instead of the native PHP one that we’re currently using.

    This is completely due to my own ignorance and I greatly appreciate your patience while I spend the time testing this and ensuring we don’t break anything in the process of making this available to you all.

    I *will not* get this release out quickly. It may be a few weeks. Do not take that as a lack of priority so much as a lack of time available to devote to an enhancement that will affect ALL users but only benefit those utilizing translations.

    Thanks for bringing this to my attention and again, thank you for your patience while I resolve the issue.

    I’ll leave this thread open until I’m able to get this feature released.

    Take care,

    Hey Thomas! Thank you that you are not indifferent to these problems, we are willing to wait, this issue is not critical!

    Meanwhile, I found another untranslatable line ??
    On My Courses page where is displayed student status (Enrolled):

    @ksdenis,

    It would be extremely helpful if you could post new topics for new issues so I can keep track of them much better.

    I will attempt to fix this issue in a forthcoming release. For future issues please post new threads so I can keep track of them independently. I manage this stuff on my own and tracking multiple issues in a long thread gets overwhelming for me.

    Thanks and take care,

    @ksdenis,

    Both your latest issues are addressed in LifterLMS 2.7.5.

    Thanks for your patience and take care,

    Thanks, Thomas!
    But after the update, nothing has changed:

    @ksdenis,

    Did you update your translation to include the new strings? LifterLMS itself doesn’t actually translate the stuff it just makes it possible for you to translate it. You need to add the strings to your translation file.

    Take care,

    Hooray!:) I should was replaced the templates in the folder with my theme.
    The only thing that not can be translated this is time on Quiz Results page(seconds,minutes):

    It must be translated?

    @ksdenis,

    I’ll get those translated in a future release. I continually appreciate your patience. I very much value the i18n community and I want LifterLMS to be 100% translatable but from day one that was not our initial intention and there’s lots of remnants of non-translatable things sitting around that are tremendously difficult for me to identify without the help of folks like yourself.

    I’ll keep you posted when this gets resolved.

    Take care,

    @ksdenis,

    Check out LifterLMS 2.7.6 which allows the newly identified strings to be translated.

    If this resolves your issue please mark this thread as resolved.

    Additionally, when you inevitably discover new strings which we haven’t yet made translatable would you be so kind as to open NEW threads (rather than replying to this one). This makes it easier for me track issues and ensure speedy responses.

    Thanks,
