Go to your Edit Profile page (link on top-right corner of wp-admin) and choose the German languange (Deutsch) there.

    Thank you Bowo!
The general website settings are “German”, my profile is set to “German” again.
Despite this, the plugin is in English

That’s strange. I just tested on a fresh WP install, ASE free v7.0.0 and only changed the language via Edit Profile and was able to view ASE settings in Deutsch.

    Yes, that’s really strange!
I have installed ASE on several german websites in the last few weeks.
And on NONE of the websites is ASE translated into German.

You’re installing ASE free version v.7.0.0 right?

    Yes, version 7.0.0

I can give you access to a staging site….

@vonitalz thank you. However, it’s not allowed here on www.remarpro.com forum to share login credentials in any form. I’ll try to take another look at this next week.

@vonitalz please update to v7.0.2 and see if that makes any difference.

    Thank you Bowo,

I have installed the update 7.0.2. Unfortunately, the plugin is still in English.

Another question – is the configuration page really only accessible via “Plugins-> Configure” or is it possible to have a link directly in the dashboard?

Thanks for giving it another try. I’m at the moment clueless why the German translation is not loading in your site. I wonder if it’s a multi-site install?

As to your question, ASE is accessible via “Tools >> Enhancements” since v1.0.0.

Thank you – now I see it under tools ??

    And regarding the (missing) translation:
No, it is not a multi-site and the behaviour also occurs on other, also non-multi-sites.
