    I’ve tried creating the necessary language files (.po and .mo), but I wasn’t successful in getting the plugin to load those files, so for now I’ve just translated the plugin by directly changing the /build/index.js
    But I have to re-translate every time the plugin gets updated, since the /build/index.js usually gets update too, and that is really counter-productive.

    So, how could I translate the plugin the right and easy way?

    PS: I’ve also contributed by translating the plugin to Brazilian Portuguese so it may be added for all to use.

    Hi @prccp. I’m not terribly familiar with the WordPress translation process (other than making the plugin translatable), so I’ll have to look more into it.

    Update: I’ve asked for you to be added as a translation editor for Brazilian Portuguese for the plugin. I was advised that you need to follow these steps in order to be approved.

    From the response:

    “As soon as he joins the Brazilian Slack instance we can move this forward from there (he will have to read our translation guideline, review his own strings, and ping me there).”

    The project I’m working was halted for a while, but we’re back at it now, so I’ll pick it off where I was.

    I just did a good read and will join Slack so I can continue on translating the plugin to portuguese, but since Slack is blocked within company domain I’ll have to take a look at that later. But I thank you in advance for your great support and good will.

    Sorry it took me so long. It was hard to read everything and get caught up with the translating process, but I’ve managed to officially start translating the plugin. It’ll probably be over soon. The good news is now I’ve been able to start translating other plugins as well. If you have other projects you need help translating to portuguese I’m at your service.
