• Hello, I manually translated the plugin in my language (Italian) but then I did the last upgrade and lost all my translations. How can I avoid this? Is there a way to contribute to make an Italian version of the plugin to be downloaded also from your site ? How could I avoid to lose my translations when doing future upgrades ? Thank you

  • Hey,

    I have the same problem with my translation files (german).
    It’s very anoying!!!!!

    Also now I cannot find the endpoint for “my auction”!
    Before it was just my-auction as permalink.

    @nitesh_singh please help!

    ae700 I found the solution…reading inside the forum I found the proper topic solving our issue. There is a plugin called Loco Translate (also install the plugin addon “Auto translator” for Loco Translate) which apparently lets you convert all the plugin into your language. Some translations are automatic, but you can edit them and fix the unproper translations. Now everything works fine on my site. It also created the proper language files (.po/.mo) and put them in the proper folder wp-content/languages. In order to have the plugin working, you will have to get a yandex key, on the same site yandex.com, which is free. But you will find instructions once the loco translator plugin is installed inside wordpress. The only thing I’m not sure of is for the next upgrade, if it’s going to remain translated or if the upgrade will overwrite the translations. But I think that having created the proper language file it should work also after the future upgrades…

    Hello @arawak2,

    Thanks for your replay.
    I started own translation with loco. Luckily there are not so many strings for translation.

    I would like to ask you to keep this topic still as unresolved, because the developer (@nitesh_singh) should be aware of this issue.
    Also because of the endpoint “My Auction”. This is very important for me

    I don’t know how to uncheck it as solved…do you know how to do ? Anyway the information that I gave you I found them on this forum, searching for “translation” I found another old topic in which the author replied to a user and wrote all those suggestions that I gave you. So I’m sure he knows about it…
