  • If you separate then with tags, such as like [:en]English text[:it]Italian Text[:fr]French text the plugin will recognize. I was having the same issue, but since I discovered this, everything with widgets had been pretty easy to solve.

Hey I have a question regarding this.
I have Dutch as my standard language and English as my secondary.
I used the shortcodes in my layerslider in the buttons so that the text in the buttons changes when selecting another language.

The problem is that when I select English everything works perfectly but when I go to my standard (Dutch) site the buttons are gone and I see the shortcode.

The problem can be viewed in the slider on my homepage:

Does anyone know if this can be solved?
The only idea I got for now is to make a whole new slider for the english version.
    Thanks!

Okay Sorry I already solved it!
I had this shortcode for the button and in that shortcode I only used the [:nl] and [:en] where the button title was.

But I changed that and completely redid the shortcode for both languages so you get:
    [:nl] shortcode
    [:en] shortcode

    This worked perfectly
