translating the date in french

In the file wp-include/locale.php you can change the dates in french, oui?

What version are you using? I downloaded the 1.2 version and that came with that locale.php file. You can download it here: https://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/cafelog/wordpress/wp-includes/locale.php.
My blog is in dutch by the way.

@ jpierre welcome back mon ami. Did you recover from the trivial task of the CSS? Do not worry about the date. You are not alone. Without the squiggly bits it won’t do the sign for pounds sterling either. Did you ever post a uri?

@moxie: OK, I understand, version 1.2 will solve my problem (I am on 1.0.1). So be it.
@root: I have long understood that trivial tasks have a tendency to be ever expanding; but I am far from being clear as to which uri you are refering.

I think Root is referring to the fact that your name as a poster does’nt include a link to your website, so people can’t check to see what the problem is and how it looks.

First go there : https://xavier.borderie.net/wp-fr/
then install the file fr.po as explained
then within WordPress (Options) write j F Y as the date Format and H:i as the Hour format
