Translating text in understrap child

I’m trying to replace the default Coupon Code text within the WooCommerce pages in a customized Understrap Child theme. I have tried using the gettext method as well as Loco Translate plugin, both of which I’ve seen recommended in various online threads (not specific to Understrap). Despite multiple attempts, I cannot get it to work.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
