Translating “Other” option with Loco Translate not working

  • Hi,

    we use this plugin for a German online shop and we tried translating the “Other” option from the drop down menu but it is not working.

    For translating the “Other” option from the drop down menu we use the plugin “Loco Translate”. We can find the string there and translate it normally. The translation is not shown on the front end though.

    We put translations in a protected loco directory so they won’t be overwritten by any updates. We also tried directly editing the template .pot file with Loco Translate but that did not work either.

    How can we achieve to translate the “Other” option in the drop down field?
    Any help with this would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

    @wooassist sorry for not getting back to you in time. We just tried to translate the string “other” with Loco Translate. In Loco Translate we find the string “other” for your plugin just a single time so we must have picked the right one.

    But in the frontend we go on reading “other” – not our translated string. We use German language and so we tried it in de_DE_formal AND de_DE – both are not working.

    What can we do now?
