Translating older posts

Your plugin is excellent, BUT it has, in my opinion, a major drawback.

If I want to translate an older post, e.g. one published in September, I want the translation at the same date. By adding a new (translated) post is like adding a new post from scrath so there quite some problems while displaying posts: the original one might be in, e.g. “page 3”, and the translated version in front page.

Can I fix this in some way?
