• Hello.

I`ve tried to search in another language on translated pages too (translated by TranslatePress plugin), but it seems to show results only for default language. The page has translated words, but search query for this word shows nothing.

    Can you advise smth ?

    Hi,

If I recall correctly someone had asked a similar question some time ago (I couldn’t find the copic), and the issue was that TranslatePress translates the content from the front-end, therefore it’s not how it’s stored on the server side. For that reason searching the content will probably not return anything, as the translation is only applied afterwards.

Currently WPML and Polylang plugins are fully supported. I will take a note of checking with Translatepress, but if the translations are still on the fly, then it’s probably not possible to make it (fully) compatible.

    All the best,
    Ernest

    Hello, @wpdreams

Translation for every language saves locally for this site. For this purpose Translatepress use international slugs like/gb/ /fr/ /es/.

As admin we can edit every word for title, content, meta description.

That sounds promising, I will make an issue request and test it for the upcoming release – hopefully we can cook something up.

    All the best,
    Ernest
