    Heho

Do you have some hints to get this plugin to work with translatepress subfolders?

Translatepress generates subfolders for each language:

    e.g. /de/, /en/, /it/

So if I click on the link /?blackhole=id it gets redirected to /en/?blackhole=id

I tried in an private tab if I get banned, but I don’t. (or don’t I get banned because my IP is an Admin IP?)

    Have a great day

    Cy

EDIT: I removed the IP from the whitelist and still not get banned ??

EDIT2: My robots.txt gets managed by wordpress. Maybe the entries needs to be edited to wildcard subfolders

Glad to help. Are you able to test with the translatepress plugin deactivated? That would tell us if the issue is with translatepress or something else.

I tried a differend test approach with another browser and a VPN.

The blocking works even with translatepress. I think it was the whitelist for admin + my caching plugin.

Because after the ban with VPN I can still open the site where I clicked the ban link, but every other site shows then the block message.

    So everything works fine.

    Sorry for this thread ??

Okay that makes sense, glad you got it sorted. Note that as explained in the plugin documentation, cache plugins are not compatible with Blackhole. Let me know if any questions about this, or anything else, thank you @workcy.

Yes I saw the documentation for the cache plugins. The cache plugin pushes the page completly into the browsercache. If I clear the browser cache then the original page shows also the block message.

But for me this behavior is okay, because even if the bot can reopen the original page then every further request is blocked.

Interesting.. may I ask which cache plugin you are using?
