translatepress redirects the landing page

Translate press works great on any page except the first landing page. If I change the language on any other page and navigate the site, everything works great.

However, on the landing page (welcome page) if I try to change the language, instead of switching from “https://kevinsenglishlesson.com/“ to “https://kevinsenglishlesson.com/en” it somehow switches to “https://kevinsenglishlesson.com/en/no-sidebar” instead.

This used to give me a standard blog-page instead of the landing page, but I edited the title of the blog-page and now it gives me a page not found error.

Is there a way to force translate press to switch it correctly on the landing page?
