    Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing several issues with the TranslatePress plugin on my multilingual website, TrueScreen in English and TrueScreen in Italian. While most images work perfectly, a few specific ones are causing significant problems. Here’s the situation:

    1. Overlay issue: For one image, instead of being substituted with the translated version, it appears overlaid, showing both the English and Italian images on top of each other.
    2. Incorrect substitution: After uploading the Italian version for just one image, TranslatePress applied that Italian image to three other images on the same page, which shouldn’t have been changed.
    3. Images not visible in the sidebar: In the TranslatePress sidebar, the images I need to change simply don’t appear, making it impossible to specifically adjust them.

To troubleshoot, I exported the images in both languages into another supported format and even created a completely new page. However, the same issue persists for these images, even though others on my website work perfectly without any problems.

Has anyone else encountered a similar issue or know of any potential fixes? I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions!

Thanks in advance for your support!

    Hi,

1&2. It looks more like an issue with other plugins (optimization ones), so the first recommended step is the conflict test (ideally in a staging environment): briefly disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. If this fixes the problem, enable everything one by one or in small chunks, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

    3. What images do you mean. Can you give us an example. See if they are rendered in HTML with <img> tag. This is necessary in order o be recognized by our plugin.
