TranslatePress deactivating main language

    Hi! Our Website is translated to four languages at the moment. German is set as the main language, but we wont need it in the future. I’d like to know if its possible to deactivate german as the main language and choose another language without having to translate the websites all over again?

    Thank you for reaching out to us!

    All translations are saved unidirectionally – from one default language to multiple secondary languages.

    Due to this, changing the default language will invalidate ALL existing translations.

    If you want another language to be the first language, then simply enable:

    • Use TranslatePress -> Settings -> Subdirectory for default language -> Yes
    • Reorder the languages

    However, this is the most that you can do regarding changing default language.
