Translated pages loading VERY slowly

    I’ve been using TranslatePress for my site, but when I switch from my primary language to the secondary, translated language, the site response it absolutely terrible. Is this just how TranslatePress works or is there some way to optimise it? Because currently this is so bad as to be unusable.

    Hello,

    Since this looks a lot like a conflict with some other code, the first/next recommended step is the conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):

    ??Briefly disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

    Thanks, Dragos. I removed the Query Monitor plugin and my site is now even more responsive than before. Seems like that plugin is pretty bad for slowing everything down. Thanks for the advice!
