• I’ve this hotel website which works in 5 languages. The URL names also change on all the pages except on the detail room pages (those were made with the WP Hotel plugin). Is there a way I can change the word ‘rooms’ depending on what language the user chose? But now it says ‘rooms’ in every language, but it should only say that when the user selected english. Otherwise i want the translations of the word ‘rooms’ to be used. I can’t seem to figure this out with the WP Hotel plugin and the translation plugin I’m using (which is Polylang). Translate the entire info on the page works fine, it’s just the url that needs to be translated.

    Hi

You have to translate rooms URL into 5 languages. But we don’t use Polylang yet so I’m not able to guide you how to translate an URL. Can you please refer Polylang documentation to know how to translate an URL?

But do you know where I can translate the url? Because for my other pages I can just do it on the page itself. But not for the ‘rooms’. Though the actual info on the page can be translated just in the input box.

    Hi

Let’s find the string rooms [URL Slug]

But I can’t change that because it’s like this: https://fincatresmolinos.com/rooms/budgetkamer/ and I can only change the last word ‘budgetkamer’. It’s the prefix ‘rooms’ that I can’t translate. It automatically uses that prefix because this page is build from the WP Hotel plugin section ‘rooms’.

I read somewhere that site language and loco translate language (with which I’m now trying to fix this). Should be the same. Where can I change the standard loco language?

Check in Loco >> Plugins >> WP Hotel Booking https://prntscr.com/k7sgjj But Loco Translate plugin doesn’t support multi language. WPML is recommended, the best plugin for multi language.

Yeah the rooms [URL slug] is already filled in correctly with al languages. But probably the problems is that it’s multiple languages then.

Polylang has some limitations so I’m not sure if it can support to translate an archive URL into multi language. Our customers don’t also use Polylang more. WPML is used instead. Anyway, just visit the support forum then see if we can help you anything https://thimpress.com/forums/forum/plugins/wp-hotel-booking/
