    Hi,

    Can you please help us solve our difficulty?

    I can’t translate a string that is apparently part of the wordfence plugin – At least it is the information we have from the company that provided us with the theme of our site:

    The string we need to translate (for PT) is:

    ERROR: The username or password you entered is incorrect. Lost your password?

    I will be very grateful for your help!

    This has been a highly suggested feature (internal ref: #FB761). I’ve gone ahead and added your request to our list, and I’ll update this thread if there’s movement on this suggestion.

    In the meantime, if you want to change the string entirely, you can find it at these locations:

    wp-content/plugins/Wordfence/lib/wordfenceClass.php:2636
    wp-content/plugins/Wordfence/lib/wordfenceClass.php:3066
    wp-content/plugins/Wordfence/modules/login-security/classes/controller/ajax.php:183
    wp-content/plugins/Wordfence/modules/login-security/classes/controller/ajax.php:215

    Unfortunately for the moment, these strings are hard-coded in, and are not translatable.
