    Hello,
I would like to submit a new sitemap to Google Search Console with all my newly translated URLs but they aren’t appearing in the sitemap. I’m using Gtranslate for the translation plugin.

Is there something I need to do for these translations to appear in the sitemap?

    Best,
    Michelle

    Hi,

unfortunately, we only support these multilingual plugins:

    – WPML
    – Polylang
    – MultilingualPress
    – TranslatePress
    – Weglot

    Thank you for understanding

    @lovestobegreen
    why translate?
    site/sitemaps.xml – valid base url

    works great!!
    site/en/sitemaps.xml
    site/fr/sitemaps.xml

@polarone I’m not that savvy with wordpress. How would I do this?

@lovestobegreen If you have a subscription to a paid Gtranslate tariff, there is, for example, a seopress plugin in which sitemaps.xml is generated, then it will work as I wrote above. With other sitemap generation plugins, you need to check. The plugin contains a link (screenshot https://prnt.sc/HpwurDLGblGD ), but when the language is substituted (/en/ or /fr/ or …. ), the sitemap will also work adequately and all the necessary links will be displayed
