    Hello,
I use WPML and I want to translate the Raffle Prize of a raffle I created. How can I do that? When scanning the plugin strings with WPML, the individual raffle prize title does not appear.

Same with the individually chosen GDPR consent text

Oh and same with {{sponsor_country}} for example in the Raffle rules. It will be the same word for every language. For example if I type in France there, it will also say France in Germany when I translate the complete raffle rules with the {{sponsor_name}}, {{sponsor_country}} and other links instead of the actually crated raffle rules. In German it will still use the {{sponsor_country}} value, because not the output value (France) will be translated, but just maybe the position of {{sponsor_country}} in the text will be placed correctly.

    Hello,

You can translate it using a third-party plugin, see here: https://rafflepress.com/docs/translating-the-plugin/

We include a .pot file in the plugin’s languages folder. The .pot file should work with any translation plugin.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Hi,
by using Gettext override translations, how would I translate strings to multiple languages instead of only to one other language?

Also, the 3 things I mentioned are all not in the .pot file, because in the .pot file there are only the strings that come directly with the plugin, but not those that I manually add in the plugin later like raffle prize or the individually composed GDPR consent text, right? Or would I need to make edits to the pot file by adding rows and new strings there?

I want my raffle to be shown completely correct in few different languages.

    Best regards

It’s possible for sure to use WPML’s string translator (with the “WPML String Translation” addon plugin active) here https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/

However, our plugin does not have the translated string that can be compatible with WPML. The only file we have right now is PO/POT.

For that, we will surely add this to our feature request list as this would, in fact, be a great feature to have for such use cases.

    Best Regards,

Would it work to add a new line to the PO/POT file with the individually chosen string for the GDPR text and then translate it?
