Translate problems

    Hey Hello,
    I want to translate this modern events calender plugin.
    I installed everything, no messages, no warnings and writable files.
    I translate strings, save them, when I go back to page, nothing happens.
    I am not sure If I did something wrong?
    I also edited some files with poedit, uploaded them in the language folder, but even than no result. I use Loco translate. Normaly works fine.
    Is it something I missed, or should do for translating this plugin to Dutch?
    Any experience of suggestions?
