Hello, I hope you are well if Allah, our Lord and Creator, wants it …

I downloaded your plugin for wordpress today and I have a problem: when I am logged into my admin area, everything is fine and translates as it should. On the other hand, once in private browsing mode or on my mobile, nothing happens or is reflected. I have the bar in the menu but by clicking on the different languages, nothing changes …

If you can look at that please …

    Thank you

    Hi,

Try to disable your cache plugin and try again.

If that solves the issue, try to add scripts loaded from translate.google.com into the exclude list in your Cache plugin settings page, so it does not try to “optimize” them.

I would also suggest you to contact your cache plugin support and ask to make their plugin compatible with GTranslate out of the box.

    Thanks! ??

Praise be to Allah and thank you for your quick response. Indeed, it is the cache plugin and I will see it with them … However, I just noticed that a cookie named “gt_auto_switch” and which lasts 9 years is present on my site … Is it normal? Because at the rgpd level, I don’t think it’s good … Thank you

You can turn off Auto switch to browser language option and that cookie will not be set.

It is an essential cookie for the operation of your website and I believe you should have a cookie consent on your website if you wish to comply with cookie policy.

    Thanks! ??

Indeed and thank you for your advice but cookies cannot exceed 13 months for the rgpd so 9 years … ?? Thank you very much in any case and good evening
