    Hello,

We are a small translation agency based in Spain.
I just discovered your “WP Google Search” plugin at www.remarpro.com and thought we could give you a hand with translations (for free, obviously). We want to gain experience in dealing with .po files, and due to the confinement and Coronavirus crisis, it looks like we’ll have plenty of time…

We could translate it into Spanish and Catalan. If you agree, I would only ask you to credit our collaboration by including our name and a link to our website ??

I thank you and await your reply.
    Best regards,
    Claudia

  • I’m not the plugin author but I can share how this plugin can be made translatable.

As seen on https://wp-info.org/tools/checkplugini18n.php?slug=wp-google-search , this plugin needs to update the textdomain.

ERROR: Your plugin slug is wp-google-search, but your Text Domain is wgs. Change your Text Domain so it is equal to your slug and modify the text domain in all your source files. This change is needed because your “Requires at least” is below 4.6.

@webshoplogic, it’d be great if you could consider making this improvement for international users.

We will be glad if you do the translation. The plugin already contains a Spanish translation, please review and modify it if necessary.
The Catalan translation would be a new one.
Of course we can include your name and link to the plugin page on www.remarpro.com
The change suggested by Naoko will be made soon and a new version will be released.

    Best regards,
    Peter Rath
