Hello, I have theme which needs to be translated to Russian (for users)
And then I have admin panel and plugins which I want to keep in English?
I’m using Mylisting theme. Other plugins and admin panel needs to be in English because it’s a common language for all admins (not all of them understand Russian)

Please help me figure out how to do this

Each registered user can set their prefered language in their user profile or use “Site default” (which is set from Settings>General)

I had the same issue with MyListing, what I did was chose English in wordpress admin setting area as my website language, and then used loco and modified English translation. Pay close attention, in loco, you do not want to choose Russian, you choose English and open translation area and translate strings (into Russian).
If I’m not clear or need to explain more, please let me know. You can also find me at [email protected]

The correct answer is given by fierevere.

Also note that this function is not related to this plugin. It’s a feature of WordPress.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work as fievere suggested.
Each user can specify their preferred language and admin panel will be on language you specified but all plugins will remain on default site language.

There is no option to to disable language for a specific plugin. Even if you are manually deleting po file – loco translate will download this file next day.

Dear developer would able to add functionality to disable translations for specific plugins ?

loco translate will download this file next day.

Loco Translate does not download files, ever.

Please don’t confuse the functions of WordPress with those of this plugin, which is basically a file editor.

Is there any way to disable loco for a specific plugins ? Like elementor page builder
Changing site language for users doesn’t apply to a plugins on website

No. If a plugin exists. It will show up in the plugins list.

This function is not related to Loco Translate.
