• My images contain text which I would like to translate.
Is there a way to select different image files, depending on the language?
I intend to use the language sensitive media in a product image of WooCommerce.

I tried to create a media translation, and then replace the file with “Enable Media Replace” plugin, but that messed up the file of the original media.

Maybe it is possible to upload both imaged (in different languages) and then make the link afterwards that one image is the translation of the other one? (just as you can do for posts/pages).
Or maybe I can use string translations to modify the image URL depending on the language, but I have no idea how to do so such that it modifies the product image.

    Any hint is appreciated.

    Regards,
    Sven

    Hi Sven,

Translated media are meant to translate the text associated to one media. Media translations are all linked to the same file. If you want to use different images in your product translations, you must use different media which are nt linked together.
